Labor Day 2012

Boy did we have a fun filled Labor Day weekend.... we kept busy, as usual, but still managed to feel like we actually had some time off!

We kicked off Friday with a disappointing viewing of the NCSU vs. TN game. At least that game is out of the way and I'm glad we didn't make the trip to Atlanta for it!

On Saturday morning we headed to Buffalo Lake for some fun in the sun! Camille loved swimming with Daddy. She is getting pretty good at kicking her legs to "swim" by herself with the help of her swim trainer!

She even got a visit from her best buddy Madelyn while at the lake..... The two had fun playing in the sand and floating in the water! Even Haley came to visit for a few hours.....

We left the lake on Sunday and headed for more play time... this time with Camille's friends Mary & Victoria. The summer thunderstorms altered our plans a bit, so we took a detour with the girls to the Jump Zone! Once the sky cleared up, we headed to Mary's pool for some splashing and sliding!! Here are the girls in their cover ups excited about being at the pool.

The moms and dads even got in some fun with the giant water slide! It went faster than I expected so I had to hold on to my sunglasses for dear life.

Before we knew it, it was dinner time, so we headed to eat Mexican with the three families.... needless to say, by the end of the night, we had three very tired girls that were very filled up on chips & salsa!
Camille had so much fun that she asked us whose birthday it was..... :)

We had trouble keeping the energy going on Monday, but did manage to get Camille to the park and Chick Fil A in honor of Labor Day :)

Back to the grind for us all today.........
