Adventures in the Strawberry Patch!

Camille went strawberry picking this weekend for the first time. It was a first for me too! Our friends, Britton, Beverly, and Madelyn joined us- as they weren't first timers :) Beverly took some great pictures that I couldn't wait to share! Camille & Madelyn gathered their buckets like they were old pro's! They did look a bit confused- probably b/c they were being photographed every few steps!
The strawberries were plentiful and Camille did a great job at picking them herself. At first she preferred to pick the small green ones, so Daddy had to show Camille which ones to put in the bucket.
Camille saw Madelyn take a bite of a strawberry, so Camille quickly decided that that was a much better approach. After one bite, it was a constant battle to keep Camille from eating every strawberry she got her hands on! After a few, it was all over her clothes and hands! Madelyn & Camille didn't seem bothered by it one bit! Nick thought this picture was funny... he wanted to caption it, "How long you been farming?"

After we were all sweaty from being out in the patch, we decided to treat ourselves to the homemade icecream they had there! Camille LOVED the strawberry cheesecake icecream!
She was so happy after loading up on strawberries and icecream, so she spent some time playing in the rocks and "cheesing" for Beverly.

  1. Oh my gosh - those pictures are SO cute!!! I love them all but especially the one of her and her little friend holding hands. So sweet! And I'm super jealous of your hand-picked strawberries! I've been thinking about Indigo Farms for weeks. I might have to convince Patrick that we need to go strawberry picking for Mother's Day. :)

  2. I agree! Cutest pictures ever! I love the one of her looking down eating her strawberry with her big hat on. That last picture is pretty adorable, too! :)
